Camp Activities

What  types of daily activities are offered?

How do campers sign up for activities?

Some common questions about activity sign-ups

Q.   Can I pre-sign my camper up for classes?
A.   No.  Except for the Horse Program and High Adventure Challenge, all classes are signed up by campers on check-in day.  The Horse and High Adventure
Challenge programs require sign-up when your camper registers for camp, and
have an additional fee.

Q.  My camper is going to camp with a friend. Will they be in the same classes?
A.  Maybe. If they select the same classes at the same times, they will be together. If
they are not in the same classes, they will still be spending plenty of time together
and will also have time in class to meet new friends.  Please encourage your
camper to exert their independence and sign up for classes that they have an
interest in, not just those their friends are taking.

Q. What happens if my camper needs help making a selection?
A.  Counselors and program staff are in the lodge during sign-ups to help each
camper choose their classes.  Sign ups are made easy by having only one cabin
register at a time.  This gives them plenty of time and opportunity to ask questions.
There are often more staff than campers present during class sign-ups.

Q. How can I prepare my child for this selection?
A.  Read the list of camp programs listed in this brochure, look at pictures on the
web site, and talk about which classes they would like to take.  Discuss second
and third choices in case their first choice is filled.
